public class TransactionException
extends RuntimeException

A transaction could not begin, commit or roll back the way a @Transactional method asked.

Unchecked, as Spring's is: a woven method keeps the signature its author wrote, and that signature cannot be made to declare a failure the author never saw. The subclasses name the cases a caller might want to tell apart.
